I will definitely be making this the next time I host a baby shower, and the colors we used in this post would be perfect for a Valentine’s or New Year’s party.
How To Make Things From Balloons
If you want to blow up all your balloons at once before tying them, put them in a large garbage bag while you blow them up so they don’t float away.

Or you can sneak into a room with a low ceiling so you can reach in and grab them as needed.
Next, slip the knot of a regular balloon through one of the holes on the decorative strip. Skip a few holes and place another balloon in the strip facing the opposite direction.
Continue alternating the colors of the balloon and the sides until you have a balloon strip as long as you want your bow to be.
You can add a few balloons to some of the holes you left out if they seem too few, but be sure to leave room to add the balloons later.

Once you have attached your main balloons, cut the balloon decoration strip just past where the balloons end on each side. Then tie a balloon band or twine to each end.
Then tie the strings to the piece of furniture you want the ribbon to pass (or leave the strings to the floor and use a globe weight at the bottom of each one).
Use your glue dots to insert the mini balloons into gaps and cracks until you have a bow that is completely filled.
We also made a nice quilted frame for our table out of folded sheets of tissue paper and edged each layer with scissors to give it more texture. So cute and easy to whip up!

If you want to add some greenery to your arch, you can place the twigs in a tight area of the arch or tape the stems to a hidden place.
There you have it! A special idea for a party table for your next fancy occasion. These are so cute on a buffet table or console set with treats and champagne.
If you want to detonate all your balloons at once before attacking, place them in a large trash bag while you pop them so they don’t float away. You can also light them in a room with a low ceiling so you can reach them and take them as you need them. Sometimes I see a craft and I just HAVE to know how it’s made! When I started seeing tons of balloons popping up all over the place, it went right over the “How can I do that?” list! After a lot of testing, I’m excited to teach you how to make a balloon bouquet even better than the one you can buy! I learned so much from this project. Like how to apply vinyl to balloons, align stickers on large lines, which balloons make the best wreaths, and how on earth to turn small balloons into large ones. Let us show you an easy way to impress at your next party!
Today I’m sharing three free files for balloon Cricut projects and each one is customizable. I will show you how to customize a Happy Birthday badge in the tutorial. You can use the same steps to modify other designs, or create your own for a special event!
How To Make A Diy Balloon Garland
Balloon marker projects require some special materials and tools. I’ll show you my favorite large clear balloons, indoor decor options, and the best balloon pump for the job. Don’t worry, we won’t pop any balloons for ourselves. We also cover how to hold the balloon arrangement in place with a special balloon stick and cup. There are many ways to decorate the base, but I’ll show you my favorite approach with a gift box, tissue paper and ribbon.
One of my best kept secrets is how to prepare and apply vinyl balloon bouquet tags. Bobo balloons are BIG and they need a great design to look good. Instead of using all the words and shapes at once, I’ll show you how to cut the label into pieces. With a few customization tips, it’s much easier to use one element at a time! You will also save the tape transfer.
Once you learn the secrets of blowing up balloons for each other and perfectly aligning stickers on curved surfaces, the possibilities are endless! You can create your own designs for gifts, party decorations and even promotional items. These balloon bouquets would be perfect for baby showers, birthday decorations, business openings or corporate events. I know a lot of people who want to get one for Valentine’s Day or another special occasion. I’ll show you how to change the Mother’s Day tag to suit any holiday.
Of course, you don’t just have to use how to make a balloon bouquet for wreaths. You can also decorate balloon arches, balloon trees or other balloon DIY ideas!
Unique Crafts Made With Balloons
To cut the permanent vinyl, I use a Cricut machine – specifically my Cricut Maker 3 – but you can also use the original Maker or any Cricut Explore machine. All you need is a StandardGrip machine mat and a fine blade! We also use the vinyl tools I have to use: brayer, weeder, conveyor belt and scissors. And I’ll show you some tricks with painter’s tape and lint-free cloth!

You will notice that there are nine layers in this design file. We will apply the vinyl to the curved globe in separate sections to prevent air bubbles or wrinkles. It’s also easier to remove smaller pieces of transfer tape from the balloon without snapping!
This design says “Happy Birthday” so you can personalize it with any name you want. Let me show you how!
With the design still selected, click “UnGroup” at the top of the Layers panel. Now click on the word “Name” to highlight it in the layer panel. We will hide this layer so we can replace it with a new name. Click the Layer’s Eye icon to hide it.
Now you can add any name and font you want! Click on the text icon on the left side of the screen. A box with “Text” highlighted in it will appear on the canvas. Without clicking anything else, enter the name you want. Use “Alexa”. Next, click on the box that says “Cricut Sans” under Font in the top menu to see your font options.

Scroll and click on a font name to see how your name will look until you find one you like. If you click outside your name, click to change the font or double-click to enter a new name. Use the font you like best.
Then move the text box along
