With the rapid growth of charcuterie boards (at least in Colombia, is this happening nationwide or what?) I’ve seen salami roses sprout up as a way to make charcuterie. They are so cute and make a charcuterie board so fun and easy. How To Make Salami Roses For A Charcuterie Board

Christmas Wreath Charcuterie Board
Step 1: Place 4 slices of salami on a flat surface. Move them an inch or two. Fold all 4 pieces together in half. (See video below)
Step 2: Wrap the rolled pieces of salami well. Starting from one side, roll until a rose shape is formed. Then push the skewer through the rose to hold it together.
Step 3: Add a fresh basil leaf on both sides if the flower is present. Then add baby bell cheese to the end of the skewer.
Salami roses are a fun way to wrap salami for a snack, appetizer or charcuterie board. It is edible and adds a beautiful decoration.
Diy Meat Roses For Charcuterie Boards
You only need 3 ingredients to make these cute little meatballs. Salami, basil leaves and baby bell cheese, that’s it! This makes them the perfect addition to any charcuterie board, but they also make a wonderful low-carb appetizer that’s really quick and easy to put together.
How many slices of salami does it take to make a rose? You will need 4 slices of salami to make a rose on a skewer.
Can I make my roses early? Yes! Be sure to cover your charcuterie tightly with plastic wrap to prevent everything from drying out!

Valentine’s Charcuterie Board With Meat Flowers Tutorial
Can you make salami roses without using a wine glass? Yes you can. In fact, I find it much easier to use a skewer to hold the flower together.
What other lunch meat can be used to make flowers? You can use any minced round meat you like. Other meat options: pepperoni, turkey, ham, chicken or roast beef. (Note: If your meat doesn’t come out round, you can always use a round cookie cutter to cut it. It should be round like rose petals when rolled.)
